Account Manager Portugal
Purpose of the post:
As Account Manager you are responsible for expanding the existing market share in Portugal. You maintain contacts with existing clients and actively acquire new clients. You are supported by a commercial employee in the sales office at the Head Office in the Netherlands.
Tasks:
- To achieve your turnover targets that are set annually.
- You actively recruit new clients and maintain contacts with existing clients.
- You visit at least 12 existing clients and/or prospects a week.
- You ensure communication between the client and UNIS.
- You prepare visit reports and prepare an annual account plan.
- You track market developments and represent UNIS at trade fairs and other client activities.
- If necessary, you prepare proposals and process the client's orders.
- You report weekly to your manager and take part in the monthly sales meeting.
- Debtor management, dealing with complaints and updating the client database also form part of your tasks.
Job requirements:
- Job-specific education at intermediate vocational level or academic level, supplemented with a number of years of work experience in a commercial post, preferably in the business to business market.
- Excellent command of the Portuguese language (mother tongue), spoken and written
- Good command of the English language is a must, as English is the working language at sales meetings.
- Good communication and social skills.
- Affinity with the technical sector and/or electronic components is an advantage.
- Good MS Office knowledge and skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).
