As a production manager, you'll organize and control the manufacturing processes during serial production, coordinating all production activities and operations.

You will be the leader of the variable production team, responsible for both human and operational resources.



Main Tasks:

  • Drive the daily operations in your area of responsibility and realize the daily production plan;
  • Coordinate the professional activities of the team members and allocate resources to ensure quality results in line with the department's strategy;
  • Own and drive the trouble shooting process on the shop floor;
  • Drive the roll out of the plant strategy in your area of responsibility. Define the department`s roadmap and track the strategic projects;
  • Annual planning of resources (human, physical, financial etc.);
  • Selection of best fitting employees in your team, take care of proper on-boarding process of newcomers, including initial training;
  • Lead the performance management of low performers;
  • Motivate and retain your direct reports;
  • Maintain the culture of feedback;
  • Support the disciplinary leaders to keep their teams motivated and retained;
  • Offer coaching for your indirect reports;
  • Give input to the plant strategy definition and to the annual revision of the strategy;
  • Setting targets for your team according to the plant strategy, the annual business plan, the customer expectations and the market situation;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the plant processes with setting and continuously updating standards;
  • Ensure work-discipline in organization, and in case of deviations take the responsibility to contain and to solve the problems.

Qualifications

  • University degree within area specific technical background;
  • More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field;
  • At least 1 year experience in coordinating technical activities;
  • At least 1 year of International exposure (working in international;
  • Experience with Automotive Quality standards;
  • Knowledge about production and quality management tools eg. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma;
  • Proficient English skills written and spoken.

  • Salary 3711,00 Eur. - 5567,00 Eur. (before withholding taxes) taking in consideration your current professional competence and work experience.
