Pestana Hotel Group - Summer Internship – F&B Service (Algarve)

This is a paid Pestana internship program for students seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working in and supporting the operation as part of the professional F&B service team in all outlets
• Creating a welcoming environment while ensuring high-quality personalised services to all guests at all times
• Meeting the hotel’s and company standards when serving in-house and external guests
• Serving guests, taking orders and delivering 5-star quality service
• Preparing orders, drinks and daily mise en place, depending on the F&B outlet
• Other duties and tasks the company may reasonably require from time to time

Requirements & Preferences

• Currently studying Hospitality or related business degree
• Previous (internship) experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle and answer guest requests in a polite and professional manner
• Enthusiasm and flexibility
• Attention to detail and good team player
• Authentic approach to serving guests and sharing complete working knowledge of menu items and concepts
