Galway Community Partnership - Local Area Employment Services (GCPLAES)

Galway City Partnership is a local and community development company working in Galway City.  We are responsible for managing the provision of a Local Area Employment Service throughout Galway, City and County on behalf of the Department of Social Protection and have been delivering the service in Galway City for the past 25 years.  

The LAES provides support and guidance with the aim to tackle disadvantage and social exclusion – and focus particularly on helping those who are long term unemployed. Helping people get back into employment through one to one career guidance, information and training, education options and employment opportunities that suit the interest, skills and experience of the clients we serve.
