Software Architect

We are looking for a person with strong technical background and excellent IT skills to support our Integrated Logistics development department in Tallinn which consists of 3 development teams.

As Software Architect you will be required to create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.

You main goal will be to provide a framework for the development of a software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a unified vision for software characteristics and functions
• Design, code, test and debug complex software while developing new functionality, and enhancing existing functionality
• Define and enforce development best practices
• Prepare and lead software architecture documentation
• Mentor other team members on areas of expertise
• Provide technical expertise on a wide range of systems/projects/platforms

Required skills:

• Java, JavaScript and SQL (strong knowledge), any other language on advanced level
• Oracle
• AngularJS/TypeScript
• ElasticSearch (nice-to-have)
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
• Agile development using Scrum, XP, Lean, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Basic organizational skills
