IT Network Administrator and technical support specialist(m / f) We are looking for an IT professional to integrate our IT Support team. This position is responsible for responding, prioritizing, and coordinating resolution of service requests and incidents for our employees located in Hosingen and abroad. Key Responsibilities: •Network Administration: •Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade company WAN, LAN and VLAN. •Administer a Windows/Active Directory LDAP environment. •Administer the telephony infrastructure. •Maintain the internal networking infrastructure (such as firewalls, routers, and switches). •Perform routine network maintenance start-up and close down and maintain control records. •Keep an eye out for needed updates. •Ensure network security and connectivity. •Resolve problems reported by end user. •Define network policies and procedures. •Specify system requirements and design solutions. •Understanding and collaboration with Infrastructure administrator to run smoothly the daily operations .•Technical Support Specialist •Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners etc. •Support and administer wide range of software applications. •Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests •Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person, remote desktop or over the phone) •Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, licenses and passwords. •Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary •Set up accounts and workstations. •Troubleshoot issues and outages. •Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls. •Develop expertise to train collaborators on company applications and technologies. •Contribute to the knowledge base on daily basis with technical documentation, procedures, and IT policies. Education Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Engineering What we offer you?A fast-growing company, An international environmentExciting challengesA dynamic workplace...And more reasons to join us...If you are interested in this position and meet the job requirements, please apply via our web site: www.bmedicalsystems.comYour profileEducation •BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline •Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training •Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus •ITIL 4 Foundation certificationor equivalent way of working experience Working knowledge of ITExperience •Proven experience as a network or system administrator role with on-premises/cloud and virtualization assets. •Experience with databases, networks (LAN/VLAN & WAN) and patch management •Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.Technical knowledge •Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure •Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery •English is mandatory, French and/or German would be an asset Skills •Extremely organized person who can manage and prioritize several open issues while working on projects •Strong communication skills, including ability to adjust to the technical level of the audience and explain complex ideas clearly and concisely •Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, fast-growth environment •Flexibility and ability to stay calm under pressure •Ability to define and adhere to the defined processes and procedures and to suggest improvements If you are interested in gaining experience in a growing Luxembourg-based company and If you are passionate about technology and service,we would like to meet you.
