We are looking for nurses who would like to start their journey with us in Region Östergötland.
In Östergötland we have three hospitals; Linköpings University Hospital, Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping and Motala Hospital. All three hospitals is provided with specialized care.
We are currently looking for both general nurses as well as specialised nurses to our hospitals within:
- Internal medicine
- Cardiology
- Renal medicine
- Surgery
- Dialysis
- Radiology
- ENT
- Anaesthesiology
Region Östergötland are a leading unit where research and development is an obvious part of our business. We use a lot of technical solutions. For example, in several departments the nurse are provided with a reading tablet where we can read in the patient’s medical record and check the treatment prescription. With us, you work in close collaboration with other nurses, assistant nurses and doctors. We value work-life balance, therefore we try to meet individual requirement for work and holidays.
Requirements:
- Registered medical license within the EU/EEA citizenship
- English language proficiency at CEFR level B2
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft office

Terms of employment
Before moving to Sweden you need to reach a certain level in the Swedish language and have your medical training recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/en/licence-application/.
Your employment will start with a clinical trial and introduction period, combined with further language studies. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Östergötland, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary are set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
