WAITERS (M/F)

Position duties and responsibilities:

• ensures that the restaurant is properly set up prior to and after the service period
• greets guests, takes care of their accommodation in the restaurant
• takes orders, serves food and drink to guests
• ensures that orders are checked for presentation and completeness and then delivered
• handles cash and credit transactions
• cleans tables after meal
• calculates daily consumption and delivers money to cash-desk
• resolves simple guest complaints
• demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
• follows uniform and grooming specifications
• performs any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, skills:

• vocational or high school diploma
• minimum 6 months related experience
• ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests other team members (level B2). Knowledge of Italian and/or German language is an advantage
• good communication and selling skills, pleasing personality with good interpersonal skills.
