Description

4G or LTE (Long-Term Evolution) is the next-generation mobile network, developed, released and maintained by PDU LTE & MS RBS, PDU LMR. The PDU is also responsible for the Multi Standard RBS node and will be implementing the layered architecture in the RBS 6000 evolution for Radio Networks.

The test environment unit is responsible for providing a stable and reliable test environment for the whole PDU supporting legacy, feature and system testing. We are supporting developing the test organizations in Sweden, Finland, Canada and China.

We now need to strengthen the test environment team with a test environment coordinator. As a test environment coordinator you will be the link between the stakeholders within the PDU towards the organization providing the lab facilities.

The job consists of gathering HW requirements from PDU organization, plan, order and follow up implementation and utilization. You should be able to discuss possible technical solutions, as well as taking part in trouble shooting environment issues. You will also be involved in forecast handling.

The test environment unit is working according to the Lean and Agile paradigms, looking into work flows, reducing waste and constantly improving the way we work.  We have a close cooperation with our customers and work in a cross functional way which includes testers, lab coordination and ITTE.

Responsibility of the STP lab coordinator:

• Collect and analyze requirements from test management & verification organizations (capacity and feature requirements)
• Forecast needs (capacity and features)
• Order equipment, plan installation and ensure maintenance
• Analyze problems, propose mitigations and drive improvements
• Ensure high availability on the test environment
• Coordination with release / test organizations
• Interface with ITTE for order handling and test environment changes

Qualifications

• You have lab and test tools configuration/planning knowledge
• You have experience within test environment and I&V
• You have a genuine technical interest in understanding and driving test environment issues to solutions.
• You are self-driven and set clear priorities
• You are a service minded, pragmatic and solution oriented person
• You have experience of working in an agile and lean environment
• Your English is fluent and you are open-minded and flexible.
• Having LTE & MS RBS or DURA background and experiences is an advantage.
