Are you looking for a challenging marine engineer job in an international company? Technical Project Engineer Alfa Laval – the world's leading supplier of marine boilers – is looking for a technical project engineer to our Engineering & Project Management department within the segment Marine & Diesel Systems, Parts & Service (MPS).

The position is based in Aalborg, Denmark, and you will be a part of a motivated team working with upgrading boiler systems to comply with new legislations and adding a green profile to the vessels.

Your challenges and tasks As our new technical project engineer your main task will be to implement Environmental Technologies to our customers’ boiler systems ensuring that the projects are completed on time and within the given budget. You will work with exciting projects like LSFO, WHR and EH-S being our customers’ main contact during both installation and commissioning, responsible for individual upgrades throughout the whole project phase.

Your main tasks will be:

•Taking care of the total case work process from beginning to end securing our product upgrades are completed on time and within given budget

•Supporting our supervisors and service engineers during installations

•Continuously reviewing the Environmental Technology packages for improvements

•Product development on our existing portfolio

•Acting as the link between Parts & Service and Product Centre Boilers to ensure that our products are continuously developed to meet customer demands

•Coordinate and cooperate with other Alfa Laval offices and agents as well as external communication to our customers.

Your profile and competences

We are looking for a colleague with a technical background as a Marine Engineer – preferably having knowledge about Alfa Laval boiler systems and experiences with making electrical engineering drawings. At a personal level your motivation and ability to analyse and achieve comprehensive and deep product knowledge is essential, combined with a well-organised approach to your tasks from beginning to end. Your technical expertise must be supported with the ability to build relations and interact with internal as well as external parties, working in an international environment with a high work pace.

Further, excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written, are essential, along with good understanding of Microsoft Office products.
