Job offer description

Software Developers for Systematic – preferably newly

qualified

Are you about to complete your studies, or have you already graduated? Give your

career start a brilliant boost and seize the opportunity to develop and deliver valuable

software solutions that truly make a difference for our customers within healthcare,

defence, law enforcement and public sectors, among others.

The job

In Systematic, every day we work on developing high-quality and innovative software solutions that simplify critical

decision-making for our customers. You will join one of our many projects where you may develop and optimise both

existing IT systems and new innovative IT solutions.

From the start, we will prime you for your job and make sure that you get the training, tools and professional feedback that

you need in order to actualise the customer’s needs. In your new team, team members always help each other, and your

code is always looked at by a second set of eyes. The focus is on your constant professional development, and you help

determine where your potential takes you. Eventually, there is the opportunity to direct your career towards management or

becoming a specialist.

You must apply for the job if you:

• Want to work where development takes place in your project team. Project teams usually consist of 6-8 developers

who work closely with assigned architects, user experience designers and test managers - often in close

collaboration with the customer

• Looking for a work day that includes scrum planning, agile working methods, feature-driven development,

cooperation with other developers and the opportunity to contribute to decisions about architecture

• Like to share your knowledge with like-minded colleagues and receive professional feedback in a competent

environment

• Take pride in developing user-friendly solutions that have been thoroughly tested, trialled in real life, and are

available for immediate delivery

Your skills and personality

You have a theoretical background in computer science, engineering or similar. You may be newly qualified and passionate

about bringing your skills in both new and older technologies into play. The technologies you will work with depend on

which team and business area that you will become a part of. Therefore, you have the opportunity to work with a wide

range of technological solutions and methods, and you are skilled in some of the following technologies:

HTML, CSS, JavaScript (AngularJS, JQuery)

• SOAP, REST, HTTP, SSL / TLS, TCP / IP

• XML, XSD, XSLT

• JPA, SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres)

• Object-oriented design and design patterns

• Test-driven development, profiling, optimisation

• Continuous integration and deployment, scripting

• Windows and / or Linux operating systems

As a person, you are a true team player who adds positively to the team dynamic. You are ambitious and have the will and

the ability to continuously improve and develop yourself into becoming an autonomous team player. You proceed

systematically and always focus on the detail. When it comes to your work, it is the quality that drives you, and you take

pride in understanding complicated solutions, and the challenges that the customer faces.

Systematic offers

Our IT solutions make it simpler for the users to make critical decisions. In the defence and healthcare sectors, critical

decisions often concern matters of life and death. In both the private and the public sector, our solutions must handle large

amounts of data, e.g. in the library sector with more than 50 million yearly loans. To be able to continue the development

of solutions that customers trust, we continuously challenge each other, our work processes and technologies. We have a

highly pro-active education and training policy with defined career paths and internal pro-active Knowledge Networks.

We stay constantly focused on making everything better. Our unique combination of strong principles from CMMI and the

best aspects of LEAN and Scrum enable us to develop reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers and to deliver them

to the agreed price and deadline. We work in teams, and some of our teams include well-integrated insourced developers.

We prioritise a sensible balance between work and private life, and our agile approach provides you with an excellent

opportunity of being able to plan your own tasks and working hours to a great extent. We value social cohesion at the

workplace and have a very active staff association.

Because we also work with security classified projects, all Systematic personnel must have security clearance. Learn more
