Your tasks include among others:

• Troubleshooting; analyzing, locating and resolving failures both mechanical, electrical, hydraulic (drive technology) and software (PLC and frequency converters)
• Inspections on installations
• Maintenance on installations
• Give advice to customers about the use of the installations
• Give training to customers in the use of the installations
• Write reports regarding the work performed
• Create schedules in collaboration with the Service Coordinator for the work to perform

Requirements

To exercise well in this function, we expect that you are in possession of a bachelor degree in a technical direction such as Maritime Officer/ship's engineer or electrical engineering. If you are in possession of a rounded MBO training in a technical direction, we expect that you have at least 5 years relevant working experience. Furthermore you are practical, problem solving oriented, stand-alone and have communicative skills. A good command of the English language verbal and written is necessary given the international nature of the function. For this position we are looking for experienced Service Engineers, but we invite ambitious starters with a technical bachelor degree as well to respond.
