The job offer is available for the following event:

Qualifications training / specialist knowledge 

Degree or diploma in relevant discipline;

Application for registration on Part 1, 2 or 12 of NMC Register (RGN/EN/RN Adult) underway.

Previous or relevant experience:

Evidence of continuing professional development;

Experience of relevant specialty as a student nurse

Ability to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions for successful partnership working.

Aptitudes and skills required:

Good organisational skills;

To be flexible and multi skilled to ensure the priorities of the service can be met;

Able to work using own initiative and as part of a team;

Excellent interpersonal skills, including proven listening and communication skills;

Strong sense of commitment to openness, honesty and integrity in undertaking the role;

To be competent to deal calmly and professionally with patients, relatives and work colleagues in a confidential and sensitive manner.

Able to demonstrate problem solving and prioritising abilities;

Demonstrable ability to work in a busy environment and cope when the service is under pressure;

A strong sense of personal and team accountability coupled to a clear understanding of the boundaries around delegated authority, responsibility and accountability;

Willingness to take on challenges and comfortable with constructive challenge.

Self-motivation and reliability;

Ability to respond positively to change;

Flexible in attitudes and behaviours to support team working and delivery of objectives.

Physical Requirements: 

Standard keyboard skills;

Flexibility/adaptability to be able to work 24-hour shift pattern.
