Regional Category Manager

DP is responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing activities globally across our factories. It will be your mission to implement the TSM setup in Danfoss’ factories at agreed lead time. You will report directly to the Head of Category TSM and are offered a unique opportunity to apply your procurement knowledge on a global scale. Implement new setup and follow-up on partner performance The job will enable you to develop your creativity and require you to find new ways of thinking. You will have a wide interface with both internal and external stakeholders and play a central role in creating impact and changes. As Regional Category Manager you will be responsible for screening the market for new solutions and partners and execute the strategies in full compliance with divisions and businesses. Furthermore you will be responsible for establishment of agreements, negotiations, supplier selection and supplier classification. Your key tasks will be to: •Accelerate and decrease number of suppliers by implementing the innovative procurement setup •Drive the implementation team •Deliver process efficiencies through execution of projects •Manage the strategy for the category and be responsible for the suppliers’ performance Strong driver with solid networking skills and procurement experience You are a proactive self starter with high drive, ambition and a positive can do attitude. You have a relevant educational background backed by solid procurement/category management experience. It is essential that you are result oriented and that you have strong negotiation skills. You hold an analytical approach and work both independently and in cross functional teams. You are also good at leading change and prioritising. You master English at negotiation level, have diplomatic skills and are able to communicate on all levels.
