Then you are very close to being our new engineer for our quality department. Siemens A/S, Flow Instruments has a high focus on development of new high technological products and maintenance of the existing product portfolio. Therefore we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled engineer who can secure the quality in our products and production processes. What are my responsibilities? As quality engineer it will be your overall mission is to secure a high quality performance in close cooperation with the SQM and Production Engineering functions as well as R&D. You will be the first point of contact in production quality cases You coordinate and follow up on 8D initiatives You analyze root causes and implement preventive measures You drive and participate in Design- and Process FMEA’s You Coordinate and carry out implementations of quality control methods like Statistic Process Control You Monitor First Pass Yield and monthly KPI’s and secure continuous improvement You prepare reporting and present to Management. You Participate in workshops for product- and production improvements and secure quality requirement specifications for new products Additionally you will act as the natural partner for both local and global quality initiatives as well as supporting implementation of new internal quality guidelines with conformity to both external- and internal standards. You will join our existing team of very skilled colleagues that work with all aspects of quality from component- to finished product level. In this context you will have interfaces to other Siemens departments and external partners and may expect up to 10 annual days for travelling. How do I qualify for this job? You have a background as quality engineer or similar, supplied by some years of job relevant experience The ideal candidate has experience within mechanical assembly processes and a major surplus will be knowledge within welding technologies but is not a requirement. You are dedicated to quality and have an eye for details Finalizing your tasks is one of your key motivators You find yourself comfortable in a challenging and hectic environment working with a broad range of different stakeholders across our organisation. It is crucial that you have sound interpersonal and cooperative skills. Finally you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing. Danish and German language skills will be another advantage. You have profound IT skills and Microsoft Excel expert skills combined with a major routine within data analysis. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
