Project managers are responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of an IT project.
Project managers ensure that the client’s requirements are met, the project is completed on time and within budget and that everyone else is doing their job properly.
Required Skills and Experience
Degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience;
Minimum of 2 years as IT Project Manager/Specialist;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Good oral and written knowledge of English;
Agreeing project objectives;
Representing the client’s interest;
Providing independent advice on the management of projects;
Organising the various professional people working on a project;
Making sure that all the aims of the project are met;
Making sure the quality standards are met;
Keep track of people and progress;
Overseeing accounting, costing and billing.
