A leading research institute is looking for a PROJECT LEADER – Data Integration (m/f)
in Sankt Augustin, NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA

Semantic technologies are your topic? In the growing flood of data and the growing decentralization of
information, companies and institutions face growing challenges in the course of progressive
globalization. The research institute offers individual solutions for the integration and analysis of data
and relies on expertise in the areas of Big Data, Enterprise Search, Information Integration, Linked
Data and Data Mining.
As a PROJECT LEADER in the field "Data Integration" you are coordinating research projects with
customers from the economy, including monitoring of time schedule, work packages, results and
milestones, as well as HR planning. Furthermore, you are responsible for acquisition, conception,
planning and implementation of projects in the areas of data integration and management.
Your Profile:
· University degree in computer science or a comparable subject (Ph.D advantageous) and
willing to economic and involved practical research projects
· Experiences in acquisition and coordination of research projects and the support of Ph.D
students
· Experiences abroad as well as successful scientific publications.
· Extensive knowledge in semantic technologies, interactive user interfaces, ontologies and
linked data
· Communicative, confident and with a passion for innovative research with a focus on
application, able to present work results in oral and written form in a convincing manner.
· English fluent in speaking and writing; German skills are an advantage.
