Who are we?
Hegge is a family-owned company located in the North of Belgium, more specifically in Hamont-Achel. For over 40 years, we are experts in the production and assembly of aluminum exterior joinery and façades for residential and non-residential buildings. Hegge is specialized in challenging and complex building projects in which we achieve technical and financial optimization for the benefit of all concerned parties. Our team of design engineers, project engineers and project managers is highly skilled and enjoys regular training to ensure their knowledge is up-to-date.
Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll enjoy a technical diverse role in which you interpret designs of aluminum façades and exterior joinery for implementation in production, installation and fitting:
- You translate and form the link between the design of aluminum façades and exterior joinery to achievable and cost-effective solutions for production, installation and fitting;
- You set up and monitor a project schedule of all activities and necessary materials;
- You create 2D and 3D technical and mechanical drawings for manufacturing;
- You provide our buyer detailed information, in order to ensure a timely delivery of materials to our plant or construction site;
- In addition, you program the CNC profile machining center;
- You participate in continuously improving our engineering process to optimize safety, efficiency and quality.
- Bachelor or Master level degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience as a Project Engineer within construction;
- Have attention to detail, organizational skills and a hands on attitude;
- An ability to understand design, problem solve, learn, adapt and continually challenge yourself and colleagues;
- Knowledge and experience with Autocad 2D and Inventor 3D or willing to learn.
