For a professional consulting company in the international wind energy industry, Workindenmark is looking for a Technology Analyst / Advisor.

They consult clients through market entry strategies, supply chain assessments and M&A projects, serving customers spanning the entire value chain: manufacturers of components and wind turbines, utilities and financial investors. They also publish research products to a wide range of subscribers who wish to stay abreast of the latest development in the industry. In all the work they rely on the integrity, insight, experience and skills of their team, and they are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Offshore Specialist to be located in Aarhus, Denmark.

Primary objectives
Conduct in-depth research in support of advisory products•
• Assist in the development and execution of custom advisory projects for key clients to support client business objectives
Build the brand through• speaking engagements and expert interviews
Collect offshore data in the• market place

Primary tasks

Business development
Cultivate new• clients for Research Publications and Advisory Products
o Expand business in advisory and research publications
o Speak and/or attend major trade events
o Utilize social networking tools to expand client base and build awareness of their capabilities

Advisory projects
Plan and execute• advisory projects
o Develop presentation material, summary tables, analytical tables etc.
o Collect project-specific data in the market place using different methods/tools, including desk research, contact to key stakeholders etc.
o Conduct cursory reviews in support of final product deliverables
o Prepare end products, including analysis, studies, reports and presentations

Data monitoring
Monitor value chain and market• activities
Collect basic offshore data in the market place using different• methods/tools, including desk research, contact to key stakeholders etc.

Candidate Profile

You hold a degree as Master of Business or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a similar relevant degree and have at least three years’ experience in the wind industry, working for e.g. a wind turbine manufacturer, wind turbine component supplier, project developer, or utility. A deep knowledge about the commercial and technical offshore wind power supply chain and market is expected.

Fluency in oral and written English and comfort working against deadlines are essential.

You are expected to have an analytical approach to the tasks, combined with a strategic mindset. You are an excellent networker and you possess excellent project management skills and are able to lead teams. Furthermore it is important that you are innovative, well-structured and able to systematize and elaborate presentable documentation. You are self-assured, result oriented, on time, respected and extrovert.
