Naval Architect (Sr Ship Design)
Description
Your tasks will include development of concept designs and basic designs of variety of different ship types and semi submersibles. These are crane vessels, pipe lay vessels, drilling ships and drilling semi-submersibles, well intervention vessels, wind turbine installation vessel and many other designs. You will be dealing with naval architectural calculations related to stability, loading conditions, propulsion, general lay out, preliminary and basic design of hull, outfitting, etc. Knowledge of major Rules and Regulations will be required. The following software is available for stability analysis: Napa, MaxSurf, DelftShip.
Requirements
You have a Master of Science in Marine Technology. Because of the international charactere of our organisationa good command of Englsih, oral and written, is necessary.
You have a strong, pro-active focus and a problem solving competency. You have at least seven years of relevant working experience. In case of extensive experience MSc is not required.
