Your future job
As a Lab Responsible, you will provide support to all BU Application Engineers and Characterization Engineers located in the labs in Tessenderlo.
More specifically, you will
- Layout or support the layout of PCBs, and assemble or support the assembly of those PCBs;
- Ensure that the labs are technically equipped according to the needs and the assessed safety requirements, including maintenance, measurements, equipment calibration, investments, stock management, …;
- Prepare Purchase Orders by gathering information on new suppliers, requesting price quotations, …;
- Be responsible for the organization of the lab by implementing 5S;
- Keep the calibration database for the labs up to date : inventory of the material, calibration accreditation, calibration reports.
Your profile
- You possess a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- You have experience with PCB design and equipment maintenance, preferably in an electronics environment.
- You are well organized, self-driven and assertive.
- You are an efficient communicator, are fluent in English and have a customer oriented attitude.
