We recently established an IT Development and Innovation Center in Tallinn, Estonia to support growth across the organization, and we are looking for a:

 

JAVA DEVELOPER / SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

 

Role in general:

  • Develop and maintain software applications and workflows;

  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders to analyze and document requirements;

  • Participate in architecture design efforts;

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and concepts for development;

  • Support and interact with international locations and vendor partners for interconnection projects into a global collection service framework;

  • Support the change request and issues resolution process for existing deployments.

 

We are looking for an experienced software developer with:

  • Deep knowledge in Java (J2SE/J2EE, JBoss, Hibernate, Spring, JAXP, JAXB, focus on web services and massive parallel online transaction processing);

  • Knowledge in XML, web-technologies (Tomcat, JSF, Web-Services) and work-flow applications;

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in an international context;

  • Ability to travel internationally;

  • Agile development experience (preferably SCRUM);

  • Very good written and spoken English and German language skills;

  • Knowledge of Software (architecture) Patterns e.g. DI, Singelton, factory etc;

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field;

  • Database skills (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server. NoSQL like Mongo would be a distinctive advantage);

  • Experience with Eclipse, Unit-Testing (Junit), configuration management (Maven, Subversion, Jenkins, Hudson, GIT);

  • CI/CD experience with automated testing and deployments.
