IT Risk and Information Security Officer

The risk control function at Ikano Bank has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Risk and Information Security Officer with at least five years banking experience.  This position will be located at our Head office in Lund and reports to the CRO.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Interpret regulatory requirements and industry best practice for IT Risk and Information Security, secure alignment to Ikano Bank’s business model and translate these requirements into policies, guidelines and local instructions.
  • Supervise, monitor and follow-up the implementation of the current and future IT Risk and Information Security management framework.
  • Provide guidance and advise to the bank’s management team in the areas of IT Risk and Information Security, working closely with key stakeholders in defining objectives for IT Risk and Information Security management, both in digital and physical form while building strong relationships with the business units.
  • Assist the business functions in the implementation and manage the overall Information Security governance processes, chair relevant Security Forums.
  • Develop, manage and supervise Risk Training and Risk Assessment tools.
  • Supervise and monitor the status and progress of IT Risk and Information Security areas within Ikano Bank's Business Continuity Planning (Disaster Recovery Planning).
  • Identify IT Risk and Information Security Risks in Ikano Bank, for example internal and external threats and make these transparent for the Bank’s management.

 

Required profile and qualifications

 

  • Academic degree.
  • Prior experience in a risk and control role would be an advantage (e.g. in ISO, ORM, Audit, Data Privacy). Experience from working with ISO- standard and/or PCI Security Standards.
  • Desirable qualifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT and PMP.
  • Technical understanding of network infrastructure and software development.
  • Good business understanding of banking.
  • Strategic with strong communication and pedagogical skills.
  • Ability to turn plans into actions, with experience in delivering work projects  across  different geographies and in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and potentially one or more Scandinavian languages.
