Would you like to develop play experiences that inspire and motivate children for more creative role play? This is an opportunity to bridge physical and digital play into one play experience in one of the world’s favourite toy brands. Invent the future of play In this design role, you identify, explore and mature various play concepts in an integrated experience, with the objective of growing new business for the LEGO® Group. As such, you: - Conduct concept development as part of the front-end team - Work closely with the full value chain from developing toys to bringing them to market, including product ownership of products after launch - Are responsible for the seamless and high quality consumer experience, including briefing partners and internal stakeholders as well as securing timely delivery to specified scope and cost - Time the experience roll-out with product and campaign launches across the different markets - Support the relationship with technology partners, including partner search and contract details Help inspire the builders of the future Working with physical and digital play experiences in the LEGO® Group is rewarding and challenging. You invent the toys of the future for children whose learning and creativity we continuously strive to inspire through LEGO® Experiences. You will translate the LEGO Promise of systematic creativity into fun, one reality experiences for children. When you succeed with the projects, you help children activate the LEGO Group’s core values through play. Designer with a strong business understanding The bar is set high in terms of delivering high quality play experiences and functionality while delivering results. So, to be successful in this position, you: - Have ideally worked in the cross field of digital and physical play with a degree in perhaps industrial design, interaction design or maybe engineering or computer science with a focus on design - Are a digital expert with design and product development expertise and strong consumer focus - Have a track record of delivering, perhaps from a smaller company where you have worked broadly with e.g. business development, marketing, or project management - Are a strong collaborator and communicator with the ability to create easy to understand briefs and inspiring visions of the experience - Are result-oriented and you enjoy the challenge of pushing ideas in order to encourage others to think differently - Take a prototyping approach in your process, believing in hands-on experiences to deliver to the high quality and play experience bar Join the global family of LEGO® In the LEGO® Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
