Job ID: 227534 Location: Vejle, Denmark Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time For our Project Management department within Siemens Wind Power Offshore we are looking for a Head of Risk Management. As a Head of Risk Management, you are a crucial function for offshore projects. Today Risk Management is handled by the overall project managers of the projects. We wish this to be further strengthened by a dedicated support function. Further the support function is enabling transparency on portfolio risks and optimization. Your team members implement the individual risk management framework and process and support the project team with his/her expertise in ensuring an effective and efficient risk management throughout the whole project lifecycle. This is a newly created position and therefore it is your responsibility to recruit and develop competencies of the new Risk Management team. What are my responsibilities? Ensure level of capabilities, quality of deliverables and a valuable risk management service is provided to the offshore projects Drive and implement the new standard for Risk Management at Offshore Identify, support mitigation and monitor project risks in Wind power Offshore projects Support team actively in risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring Ensure lessons learned implementation, meaning continuous improvement of risk methodology and finding of risk What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a BSc or MSc degree within Engineering or Business administration Experience in the wind energy sector ideally Knowledge about offshore and larger projects You are an experienced and strong focused manager with a proven leadership track record and Intercultural leadership experience You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to facilitate risk relevant workshops You demonstrate excellent English skills, orally and in writing as well as profound networking and communication skills across organizational levels and cultures You are willing to travel In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
