On behalf of company in Northern Jutland, Workindenmark is seeking a Foundry Engineer. Our client is in a very positive development and expands internationally via international partner foundries in MAT Group as well as enhances their product offerings based upon more complex castings, new material qualities as well as increased efficiency.

As foundry engineer you will have a central position in the company and work within the areas; material qualities, melting process, sand preparation, casting process in cooperation with skilled colleagues, suppliers and cooperation partners.

The company has focus on continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, development of their products and processes as well as their systems, procedures and instructions. They are in the process of being able to serve also their customers’ factories in Asia via MAT Group foundries in China and assist their sister foundries with know-how and support.

It is expected that you:

• have an education and work experience as foundry engineer or metallurgist or has acquired similar proficiency via job experience

 • as a minimum have good command of English in speaking and writing

• will move your permanent residence to their geographical area •

enjoy working internationally with business trips to European and Chinese partner foundries; 15-20 days annually

• can work independently and show initiative.

Our client is a modern foundry with own machine shop, and they supply leading customers within the segments Hydraulics, Wind Turbines, Commercial Vehicles and Machine Components. Approx 65% of sales is export. The Company is part of the global MAT group with foundries in Europe and China. It has a very efficient production set up based upon two vertical DISA lines as well as a horizontal HWS line. They offer a wide range of material qualities in grey as well as ductile iron. The Company believes in good customer service and appreciate commitment, cooperation and good skills. Around 300 employees contribute to their results and the important continuous improvement to facilitate growth and their market position.
