Purpose of Job: To comply with all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure friendly, efficient, and quality service to all our guests in a clean, hygienic and safe environment You are expected to: Be the welcoming face of Dooley's Hotel and assist in all food & beverage operation areas, ensuring that guest experience is unique while following health & safety regulations and guidelines. The Ideal Candidate will: Understand and practice high-end customer service, accounting for and interchangeable roles of the food and beverage server. Must possess a positive professional attitude and have the ability to work with various people efficiently and effectively. Main Duties: To maintain all Dooley's Hotel food and beverage service standards, serving food and beverage to guests safely, effectively and efficiently, offering suggestions for upselling and checking of tables To check frequently that guests are content with experience - meal/beverage/service -, anticipate their needs to exceed their expectations and ensure that all guests receive courteous attention. To ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy and maintain crockery, cutlery, etc., to par stock levels, cleanliness, and ensure all measures are implemented to control breakages/loss. Daily cleaning duties and checklists as per area and to carry out extra tasks such as deep cleaning where required. To ensure compliance, at all times, of all relevant legislation relating to weights and measures, licensing and underage drinking. To operate the till system as per strict company policy. All tables are to be processed and closed correctly. Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled securely. To ensure good communication is maintained at all times. Ensuring to treat all colleagues with dignity and respect, and to do what we said we will do COVID-19 considerations: All customers and staff are required to wear masks at all times.
