ERTMS Engineer
Currently, we give support to ALTEN on European level in searching of candidates, mainly for IT/ Telecom and Engineering positions. For one of our clients from the railway sector based in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for ERTMS Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in similar role in railway industry.
The main responsibilities for this position are:
- The definition, specification, analysis and development of group signaling systems, their integration and test
- Realization of tenders and local or international projects
- Orientation of new products developments
- Participation in the traceability of functional specifications
- Improvement of the specifications in function of new specified needs
- Conception of the system evolutions (mainly in term of maintenance and implementation of a new line)
- The selected candidate will work also in collaboration with Validation and Verification Teams, Safety teams and might at times work as system engineers for new and “must win” tenders
The candidate we are looking for should have the following skills:
- Master Degree in Electronics, Automatics, Computer Science, Telecom or other related
- Experience, from 3 to 15 years, in vital railways or aerospace system (from system specification and design up to Test & Commissioning and maintenance)
- Interests in system engineering and in railways area
- Good English oral & written expression. Other languages are assets.
- Good general technical background
