Embedded Systems Engineer - Qorvo

Responsibilities As a member of the Systems and Software team, you are part of Qorvo’s Wireless Connectivity business unit. You contribute to the success of our IoT products, by checking the feasibility of and contributing to novel features.

• Discuss with internal customers to get a clear view on the requirements of new features
• Check feasibility and providing architectures to implement these new features
• Test the new features in real life circumstances and iterate on architecture and design
• Work together with digital engineers and software engineers to build proof of concepts demonstrating new features to customers
• You are eager to extend the scope of your knowledge to new domains, like localization and coexistence

Qualifications

• You have a strong background and +5 years of experience in embedded software development and testing
• You have solid, hands-on experience in embedded C/C++ programming, and Python scripting
• You have a basic understanding of the inner workings of IoT platforms, on both HW and SW level
• You have knowledge on major wireless standards, like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Zigbee, and experience with sniffing and interpreting over the air traffic
• Experience with ARM Cortex M platforms is a plus
• Education Level: Master In Science/Engineering
• Experience in the semiconductor industry
