Our client an award winning technology company specialising in delivering web and marketing solutions are seeking a Cloud Systems Specialist to work closely with the in-house developers while reporting to the CTO.

The Cloud Specialist will be responsible for the provisioning, setup, documentation and configuration of the hardware and software solutions that are virtualised and hosted on cloud platforms. You will be doing 24/7 monitoring of the internal and live systems together with ensuring disaster recovery processes are maintained. Together with the development teams, as a Cloud Specialist you will be involved with software releases and regular patching of the operating system. The candidate will be also be coordinating, repairing and recovering hardware or software failures together with maintaining internal office software and hardware policies.

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in a similar position and a good understanding of the web and related hosting technologies. Strong knowledge in Microsoft IIS, Window server technologies and virtualisation is required together with Microsoft SQL server. It is also important to have strong understanding in IT security. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Microsoft .NET, C#, PHP or scripting, SQL configuration, data retrieval, MCP certification and agile software development methodologies are considered an asset.
