For the season 2022 we are looking for: 

Chef de cuisine (1 position) 2 years experience or 6 years experience as a chef. 1 April - 20 Dec with possibility of extension.

Chef de partie (3 positions) 2 years experience or more. April 1 - Oct 15 / 29 April - 25 Sept.

Commis chef / Cold Sideboard or Commis chef entremetier (2 positions) June 3 - Aug 28 / 17 June - 21 Aug.

We love food and taste experiences, we love the nature around us, we love meeting people and we love our place by the sea - Ransvik. Being able to share this experience is a uniting motivator regardless of the position in the business.

The base in our kitchen is good, clean and fair food! We offer an à la carte menu both day and evening as well as a small, but nice patisserie selection. We cook and bake everything ourselves from scratch and our ingredients are organic or produced by the region's talented farmers and artisans!

In our kitchen, we work in a small team where we help each other with what is needed based on what we aim to deliver to our guest. Unpretentious! The main work in the kitchen consists of mise en place, provision, processing and preparations to be able to provide a good service with a fast and stable flow during service hours. We also do a lot of baking so good knowledge of bakery is an advantage. To some extent we also expect you to plan and order comestibles. The kitchen is small and efficient but requires good planning, neatness, clean working and a very good ability to work together with others as a team. During the high season, we serve about 300-400 diners and about 150-200 coffee guests during our 12-17 opening hours. During the summer, we are also open in the evening a few days a week, which means more specific cooking á la minute for 50-100 guests. As a small workplace with a lot to do, it is important for us to find the right team players, with the right attitude and the right potential. We are looking for someone who has that little extra, people who genuinely enjoy meeting other people and who enjoy their work.
