Job ID: 229370 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time For our Controlling Team in our Finance Department we are looking for a dedicated business controller with strong IT competences. The Controlling team provides our stakeholders with reliable financial data in a timely manner to support our management’s decisions. What are my responsibilities? Prepare and conduct the monthly forecasting process for one of our segments Administrate our Business Intelligence solution (Oracle Essbase) Be the first point of contact for the Wind Power Division and other Siemens internal stakeholders with regard to the forecast Support the controlling of Wind Power’s Business worldwide in regard to Actuals, Budget and Forecast Clarify the reasons for deviations between Actuals and Budget / Forecast and prepare commentary Reporting and planning of selected key figures (e.g. Sales Activity, Profit, Cash Flow) on global as well as on legal entity level Support in preparation of monthly financial management reporting Cooperate closely with the controlling departments in the segments Perform ad-hoc reporting and controlling tasks What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar with a minor in computer science (alternatively, you majored in computer science with a minor in business administration or you gained financial or IT experience in other ways) You can show at least 3 - 5 years of professional experience preferably in large international companies You have a some understanding of manufacturing and logistical flows and the way they are linked to financial processes (esp. in regards to project accounting / percentage-of-completion accounting) As a person you are result-oriented, structured and a dedicated team player with strong analytical skills and you thrive in a busy and international environment handling many simultaneous tasks You possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing You are an experienced user of IT tools and systems (esp. Excel and VBA, SAP BW) and have experience in working with and administrating Oracle Essbase databases. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
