Assistant Restaurant Manager
Hilton Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager within the Oceana Restaurant.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant will be responsible for:
• Working on innovative ways to increase revenue and improve the guests’ experience
• Contributing towards ideas and innovation to the whole F&B department and the hotel in general
• Managing the team members within the department and provide coaching, guidance and support for the provision of a superior service
• Managing labour efficiencies, working together with the rest of the F&B team in creating cross outlet synergy to capitalise on resources
• Developing and following all outlet policies, brand and quality standards and operating procedures
• Being physically present at the Oceana Restaurant, in order to manage the operation and have first-hand contact with guests and tackle problems as they occur
Requirements;
• Previous experience working at management level, within a restaurant environment, preferably within a five-star hotel
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer Service experience in a supervisory capacity or above
• A warm personality, attention to detail and smart appearance
• A creative, driven and pro-active attitude
• An ability to listen and respond to demanding guests’ needs
• Accountable and resilient
• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
