In order to truly grow and be competitive in the fast paced digital market we need to make sense of the enormous amounts of data passing through our network. And with your individual problem solving abilities you can help us to create a new information-based A1. This is why we are on the look for a second level Technical Support Engineer.



What you are going to do:

  • Administer, monitor and maintain the supported systems in operation within the required parameters (availability, performance);
  • Support testing and production environments, deploy builds and fixes, sanity testing and troubleshooting;
  • Administer, monitor and maintain application and integration middleware (i.e. Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss);
  • Prepare and execute tasks related to billing/rating/batch processing;
  • Monitor 24/7 application servers and workload, make adjustments if necessary;
  • Handle incidents (analyse logs, errors handling, finding resolutions or workarounds within the specified SLAs/OLAs);
  • Work with ticketing system to resolve reported problems or submit such to responsible units in case of failures or tasks;
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports;
  • Develop tools/scripts to automate routine operational tasks;
  • Maintain system documentation.



What we are looking for:

  • University degree in the field of IT/Telecommunication or any other relevant;
  • At least 1 year of working experience with monitoring/reporting/supporting applications;
  • Unix/Linux hands on experience;
  • SQL Knowledge (eg. Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) is mandatory;
  • Fluent English – written and spoken;
  • Ability to work on shifts



It will be considered a plus if you have:

  • Any knowledge and/or experience with UC4 (Automic), Job Scheduling;
  • Advanced Scripting Knowledge e.g. Perl, Python, shell, Kshell etc.;
  • ITIL (Incident-, Problem-, Change-, Deployment-, Event-Management);
  • Knowledge of 2-tier or 3-tier applications - J2EE servers and applications experience;
