At Yttervik, you live in idyllic surroundings by the Ranfjorden, while also being a short distance from the center of Mo i Rana. The area invites to varied activities for the whole family.

Here you can rent your own small house, cabin or apartment all year round. The offer is varied with different standards in different sizes and price ranges. The corporate and group market is an important part of our operation. We have meeting room capacity for 30 people. At the far end of the headland, there are great pitches for motorhomes and caravans in the summer.

We are looking for host for Yttervik. 

This is a unique opportunity for you/you who want to manage and further develop this unique place.

Yttervik consists of 33 rental units with a total of approx. 140 beds.

There is a well-equipped conference room in the main building, with space for around 30 people. A sauna facility and a hot tub are being planned. Boat rental and own accommodation and more.

Yttervik is right down by the fjord and is also surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and varied hiking terrain.

Yttervik has a good and cozy atmosphere.

The work of the host is varied and exciting, but the most central and decisive for success is good service and the understanding of what makes for satisfied guests. A unique destination must live up to expectations and preferably exceed them. It can be demanding at times with long days and a lot of work. Good routines are absolutely central and a solution-oriented attitude will be decisive for success. It is a position with a large degree of both freedom and responsibility.

We would very much like to develop a separate food concept with us, so the Host must have an interest in - and a desire to offer good food experiences.

There are many functions that must be taken care of. Everything from cleaning, purchasing and normal hotel functions, organization of meetings and ongoing maintenance of the property and surrounding areas and more.

Characteristics we believe are important to have:

• efficiency, structure and high work capacity.

• has a sense of order and an eye for detail

• quality conscious

• practically laid out and can hold a roof

• good communication skills in Norwegian or English

In the role, you must, among other things:

• deliver world-class customer experiences; this is our most important task at Manshausen

• ensure ongoing dialogue with the guests before and after the visit

• ensure order in all areas

• ensure that quality is maintained at all times

• organize guided tours, rental of kayaks and other equipment? ensure that HSE is taken care of

• be responsible for general hotel operations and ongoing maintenance

• be a handyman, have a good technical understanding

• coordinate and follow up various projects as well as planned and general maintenance in close cooperation with the manager.
