Welcome to Wellbeing Services County of Päijät-Häme, where you are much more than an employee and where we strive to build a good life together for our customer, our employees, for all off us. Päijät-Häme is the gateway to Lakeland Finland and a paradise for people who love to spend time outdoors. Here you can find numerous hiking, cycling and canoeing routes in the area and as the winter arrives, it's time put on skis or touring skates and enjoy the wintry nature on the ski tracks, frozen lakes and ski slopes.
We have something for everyone whether it's outdoors, culture or some great restaurants and as bonus the cost of living is much more affordable than the bigger cities. That being said, should you wish to escape the cozy life in Päijät-Häme occasionally we have great transport links to the capital metropolitan area as well as the other big cities around us like Tampere, Jyväskylä and Hämeenlinna for example.
