Do you have education from abroad and want to recognize it? Or have an employer asked if your education is equivalent to a Norwegian education? The Directorate of Higher Education and Skills can answer all you need to now about recognition of foreign education.

NOKUTs recognition services for foreign education moved from NOKUT to the Directorate of Higher Education and Skills (HK-Dir) the 1st of January 2023.

In connection with the transfer, the application portal was closed from the 1st of December 2022 to 1st February 2023. The application portal has now reopened. As a result of this, applicants may experience longer processing time.
