Test Management Engineer

And do you want to be in the game all the way through a project – from start-up through completion of testing, to product release and subsequent maintenance? Then join our Test Management & Laboratories team, which is part of R&D at Danfoss Power Electronics in Gråsten. We are an experienced team that consists mainly of Engineers and Technicians, and our primary objective is product validation. We have our own test facilities for almost all areas of testing including software/hardware performance, EMC, mechanics, UL/LVD, lifetime and reliability. Manage and coordinate test activities in projects Your primary task will be to manage the product validation and testing process in regards to one or more of our many R&D projects. It will be your responsibility to define the project test strategy, create test plans to cover the product requirements, coordinate the test activities and follow up. More specifically you: •have detailed knowledge within test, validation and quality •can apply test techniques and methods when applicable •will ensure that our products function as specified and live up to our customer expectations of quality and functionality •are able to improve/optimise work processes In co-operation with our project managers you take an active part in the projects, report on the progress and also identify and mitigate risks. Engineer with product development experience You are a skilled engineer – preferable electronic or electrical – with experience from a similar working environment and comparable tasks. Besides, you have profound experience with embedded development as well as test management, or you might be talented within quality management. Furthermore you have application/domain knowledge, you are good at organising your work and able to document and communicate the results in English. Working with several simultaneous tasks and projects is a natural thing for you and you quickly adjust to and handle sudden changes in priorities and tasks. As a person you are naturally curious, outgoing and proactive on your actions.. You take responsibility and you are good at guiding, challenging, optimizing and planning projects and processes.
