Your new role

As our new Project Manager, you will be representing and managing the Global Supply Chain aspects in product development projects. You will work closely with colleagues in R&D and product management while leading all Supply Chain project team members from various functions like: Procurement, logistics, manufacturing technologies and operations. You can also be assigned to larger Supply Chain projects, which could include manufacturing transfers. You will act as the overall project manager and be the link between our various specializations. In both roles, you will be working with different cultures in a global and cross functional setup, and you can expect 20-50 travelling days a year, mostly within Europe and the Far East.

 

More specifically, you will ensure that projects are executed within the frames of the Global Supply Chain strategy.  In close cooperation with our key experts, you will also ensure that topics like product costs, quality and time to market. This could be through e.g. DfX or lean principles by applying relevant manufacturing technologies and overall timely execution supported by project management processes.

Your experience and qualifications

  • An appropriate technical or economical degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent)
  • Several years experience from Project Management and/or Supply Chain development
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), whereas spoken Danish is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to lead team members toward common objectives while fostering team spirit
  • A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects

Among the key success factors to this role will be your competences or curiosity in developing key leadership skills like: Prioritizing and facilitating. You will also need a great deal of logical thinking and self-motivation to be successful in this position. In addition, you are resilient and can deal with complexity. You are a fast learner with the ability to adapt to change. You are known for your open-mind, social skills and communicative approach to all levels in the organization, this enables you to build relations and cooperate across cultures and geography.



Preferred

  • Knowledge from automation and robotics, and Lean principles / Toyota Production System (TPS)/Six Sigma is an asset
  • Industrial supply chain or electronic drives/frequency converter assembly, test, quality and/or project experience
