SENIOR SCIENTIST – LEAD / Precision Medicine / Bioinformatics
Location: Krakow, Poland
This time we collaborate with a Company focused on enhancing Life Sciences with cutting-edge technologies and domain expertise. Our Client is growing rapidly and in a process of expanding their R&D Department in immuno-oncology. They are preparing own product pipeline in the field of precision medicine. Our Client is looking for a Senior Scientist, who will be able to support them with his/her knowledge and expertise in using bioinformatics and data science tools and will contribute to the work on Company's own products in innovative diagnostic and therapeutic methods in oncology. This is a chance to work with energetic and determined people on some ground-breaking projects.
DUTIES
• Support of development of bioinformatics products in the field of personalized medicine, and developing them (e.g. prediction of therapeutic responses). Would be a plus if one of your area of expertise would be: genomics, NGS, microbiome, proteomics, metabolomics.
• Ability to read market trends in the field of precision medicine and work on expanding own product portfolio.
• Being a key contributor of R&D works.
• Active participation in discussions with the Company's partners and throughout the entire Company value-building process.
• Representing Company at international scientific conference.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• PhD in biological sciences with strong bioinformatics background; business studies will be an additional advantage.
• Several years of experience in working using bioinformatics in biotechnology.
• Experience in developing products with the use of bioinformatics tools as a manager of development process.
• Experience in team management would be a plus.
• Fluent English.
