MISSION

The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for scouting potential Suppliers for all commodities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out demand-oriented supplier searches.
  • Different commodities to be evaluated: metal, electric and powertrain.
  • Potential identification / assessment of new local suppliers.
  • Support of suppliers in the VW procurement process with the aim of a successful tendering and nomination.
  • Support and coordinate communication between local suppliers within the Group.
  • Evaluation of the procurement market, innovation, supplier changes within the regions.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering Excellent knowledge of German, English spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of the Windows operating system and its main applications.
  • Strong attitudes to interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
  • Frequent travels across the country and abroad.
