Job description

• Work with Design Teams within Electronic Solutions Department to identify reliability risks for new designs and design change
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product
• Analyze field performance and lessons learned
• Support Tech Service in the resolution of field issues using Root Cause / Corrective Action methodologies
• Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards
• Lead failure investigations to determine the root cause of failures and initiate corrective actions to preclude further failures
• Establish reliability requirement and budget breakdown
• Define operational environment & user case
• Perform risk analysis / FMEA together with development team
• Identify critical parts
• Risk retirement, including feasibility and lifetime testing
• Reliability testing at different function levels within a subsystem
• Reliability prediction
• Review: design robustness
