Our client is an High Tech organization which is a tier-one contract manufacturing partner, delivering high tech capital equipment to leading OEM companies and users of advanced production lines. Their services include prototyping, customer specific factory automation projects and series manufacturing of ‘high-mix low-volume’ products. The Senior Designer Electronics will contribute to the ongoing growth in development and engineering, by contributing to project acquisition, the product architecture and the project execution (with electronics development partners). You are responsible for the design of electronic components and control systems for high-end mechatronic modules. Develop/drive architectural concepts and design, specification of electronic modules and systems and support trade-offs between mechanical, electronic, and software competencies. Specify and outsource specific development and engineering activities to electronics development partners. Maintains a network of best in class electronics development and engineering partners. Lead the electronics designers and engineers in the multidisciplinary project team. Contribute specialist knowledge in one or more electronic engineering fields, such as signal processing, analog, digital and power electronics, firmware, buses, PCB lay-out, EMI, etc. Support allocation of manufacturing and other supply chain decisions. Document specifications, concepts, and designs, test analysis results.
Requirements • Technical University, Master in Electrical Engineering; • 5 to 10 years experience in design of electronic control systems and components for high-end equipment and/or products, in multidisciplinary development teams.
