For our Transportation department within our Onshore market unit, we are looking for a competent Transport Concept Manager to manage and strengthen our project logistics, supplier management and transport concepts. In this role, you will be joining a dedicated group of people in a newly reshaped organization and will have the opportunity to set your mark on a business area with great expectations.

What are my responsibilities?

· Monitoring international logistics market for improving competitiveness in transportation of wind power components - heavy haulage and over dimensional carriages on road and sea. · Definition of project specific concepts. · Calculation of project transport costs and risk evaluation. · Requesting quotes from transport service providers for preparation of binding offers during sales phases. · Leading technical supplier evaluation and supplier award process in regards to technical requirements of the transportation concept. · Contribution to cross-functional improvement projects e.g. development of new transport equipment and tooling.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have a degree within business studies with a focus on logistics or industrial engineering. · Alternatively, or combined with, several years of work experience in project logistics including involvement in supplier management and project specific transport concepts. · Experience in managing high and heavy international transports and having a broad network in the logistics industry, e.g. freight forwarders. · Experience in SAP modules relevant for logistics (SD, TM, TMS) is considered an advantage. · We expect you to be a team-player, an excellent communicator and fluent in English – oral and written. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
