Are you an experienced planner looking and interested in joining a thriving multinational company? This might be the role for you. 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IPI/RTPI Planner at Associate/Principal Consultant level. You will be based in Dublin, with the option for remote/ flexible working arrangements also. 

You will play a vital role in developing our clients already established portfolio, with a focus on the Built Environment sector and renewable energy. This role will offer you the opportunity to work on projects throughout Ireland and the UK. 

 

Job Description

What will you be doing?

 


With a comprehensive understanding of the relevant legislation, you’ll provide exceptional advice on the day-to-day challenges our clients face and have an appetite to unlock and develop new and existing client opportunities, strengthening relationships and playing a key role in evolving the wider planning team by developing junior planning staff. Your excellent track record of project management will be essential, as the company's culture encourages and enables the delivery of an integrated offer to clients.  

 

As we undertake planning and environmental services across a wide range of disciplines including noise, air quality, transport, landscape and ecology, you should also be experienced in providing the lead advice in client meetings and presentations, as you will play an important part in business development. 

 

Given that the company operates across multiple sectors, there will also be opportunities to collaborate and work in other sectors. 

 

Key Responsibilities

What will you need



With extensive and demonstrable Planning experience focusing on the Built Environment and the renewable energy sectors, you will have excellent knowledge of Irish planning legislation along with the aspiration and established network to develop new business, with the support of senior colleagues and the wider organisation.



Additional requirements include:

  • Team management experience and a track record of project delivery expertise 
  • An appetite for promoting the brand and attending real estate events to deliver this
  • Full IPI or RTPI membership 
  • Full drivers licence 
  • Proven capabilities leading client meetings/presentations  
  • Experience of leading multidisciplinary projects and coordinating and preparing EIARs
  • Team management/ mentoring, project management/ delivery experience.
