Warehouse Coordinators - Venlo
Purpose of the function:
The Warehouse Coordinator reports to the Teamleader Warehouse, takes care of the daily
managing the Logistics employees and monitoring the daily course of business. Taking into account
with the quality and environmental aspects that have been drawn up in policy terms within the organization.
Function context
The coordinator acts as the first point of contact for the Logistics employees and the Troubleshooters and directs it.
In collaboration with the Teamleaders, they ensure the correct processing of the order flow and a reliable and safe working environment.
Result area
Policy
- Enforce a policy regarding storage and loading of the goods.
Leadership:
- Directs Logistics Employees and Troubleshooters.
Deploy, output to:
- Daily management of the Operators;
- Supervising and coaching (new) employees;
- Checking daily presence of employees;
- Ensuring that the operational targets are achieved;
- Ensuring a safe and reliable workplace;
Evaluating responsibilities
- Performs the work under the supervision of the Teamleader;
- Is responsible for your own safety and that of colleagues and adheres to the drawn up for this
purpose instructions;
- Is responsible for reporting irregularities to managers.
Maintain:
- Maintains relationships with the customer
- Maintains contacts with Operations.
Contacts
- Internal: own department, Operations (team leaders & coordinators), Warehouse Operations
Manager.
- External: Customers.
Competences
Working and thinking level
- A completed MBO education, relevant (logistics) modules;
- Demonstrable experience within logistics in a similar function;
- Managerial abilities;
- Good oral and written skills in Dutch or English is a must, German is a pre;
- Can recognize optimizations in the workplace and is able to implement them;
