Crossing Nordic Borders är ett online-rekryteringsevent där ni som arbetsgivare erbjuds möjlighet att, helt kostnadsfritt, träffa och etablera kontakt med kvalificerade kandidater från hela EU/EES området. Kandidater som kanske blir era nya medarbetare! Crossing Nordic Borders fokuserar på Sverige, Finland, Norge, Danmark och Island och de bristyrken som behöver tillsättas i dessa länder. 

Crossing Nordic Borders anordnas av Eures Sweden Arbetsförmedlingen, Eures Finland, Eures Norge, Eures Danmark och Eures Island på online-plattformen European Online Job Day. Under eventdagen kommunicerar man som arbetsgivare med kandidater på sitt nordiska lands språk samt på engelska.

Ni erbjuds följande:

-Annonsera era lediga tjänster, som kan ses av kvalificerade kandidater i hela Europa  

-Intervjua kandidater. Kandidater som sökt en ledig tjänst hos er kan ni välja att intervjua direkt under eventdagen.    

-Chatta med kandidater som vill veta mer om er verksamhet och de lediga tjänster ni erbjuder.

Om er organisation består av flera avdelningar som önskar delta i eventet rekommenderar vi att varje avdelning registrerar var sitt konto. På så sätt exponeras varje avdelning för sig och det blir lättare för er att hantera ansökningarna. Dessutom får varje avdelning planeringsverktyg för intervjuer och chattkanal som är deras egna.

 

Annonsering

För att ni ska få bästa möjliga genomslag i marknadsföringen av era lediga tjänster är det viktigt att annonsera dessa på eventsidan så snart som möjligt!   

Matchningen av kandidater sker utifrån annonserna och för ett lyckat resultat är det viktigt att vara tydlig i beskrivningen av tjänstens innehåll och krav på kvalifikationer. Kom ihåg att skriva annonstexten på engelska. Erbjuder ni flera tjänster inom olika yrkeskategorier går det bra att registrera en samlingsannons.

I annonseringen har ni möjlighet att hänvisa sökande även till er egen karriärsida men observera att event-plattformen är uppbyggd för att sökande ska söka tjänsterna genom just plattformen, vilket innebär att de allra flesta gör det. Därför är det viktigt att ni fortlöpande tittar igenom era annonser för att fånga upp kandidaterna.

Boka online-intervjuer

Ni har möjlighet att boka in online-intervjuer där ni kan möta kandidater som visat intresse för era lediga tjänster. Under eventdagen den 24 februari har ni tillgång till 30-minuters intervju"slots" från kl 08.00 och över hela dagen (fram till 23.59) där ni väljer vilka "slots" ni vill göra tillgängliga för kandidater.

Onlineintervjuerna genomförs genom ett audio-video chat verktyg som heter Jitsi. Ni behöver varken installera programvara eller anpassa ert system/firewall.

Chatta med kandidater under eventdagen

Genom att vara inloggad på erat exhibitorskonto kan ni chatta med kandidater under dagen.

Tänk på att lägga planerade intervjuer till andra tider än under eventets öppettider så kan ni nyttja tiden till spontana intervjuer under hela eventet.

Crossing Nordic Borders is an online recruitment event where you as an employer get the opportunity to meet and get to know qualified candidates from all over the EU/EEA area – free of charge. Candidates who may become your new coworkers! Crossing Nordic Borders focuses on Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland and the professions that are in high demand in these countries.  

Crossing Nordic Borders is organized by Eures Sweden Arbetsförmedlingen, Eures Finland, Eures Norge and Eures Danmark on the online platform European Online Job Days. Employers will communicate with their potential candidates throughout the job day, in their respective Nordic language as well as English.

You are offered these services:

-Promotion of your current vacancies, which in turn can be seen by qualifies candidates from across Europe

-Interview candidates. Candidates who apply to a vacancy with you may be interviewed online during the job day.     

-Chat with candidates who are in need of further information on your company and the vacancies you have.

If your organization consists of several departments with individual recruitment needs we recommend that each department register. This way each department will be given exposure and will have a better opportunity to handle their individual candidates, and can plan their acitivites for interviews and chats with candidates individually.

 

Promoting your Company and your vacancies

In order to get the most out of your participation and boost your marketing effect it is important that you register your vacancies on the event pages as soon as possible!   

The matching of candidates to your recruitment needs is done according to the specific requirements you register in each vacancy so it is important that these criteria are clear and specific. Remember to register the vacancy information in English language if possible. In case your company offer vacancies within several professions you may register a general vacancy for your overall needs. You have the opportunity to refer or link to your own recruitment site, but please observe that the event and the platform is designed to process applications and interviews on the platform itself, and this is the preferred way to make use of the event. For this reason it is important that you frequently check on your vacancies and keep your information current and up to date to meet the demand from potential candidates.

Make bookings for your online interviews

You have the opportunity to book online interviews with candidates who have shown interest and who you regard to be qualified. 30-minute interview slots will be available to you on the platform for the event day of february 24th starting from 8 a.m. and all day until 11.59 p.m. where you yourself are in control of which slots you make available for the candidates.

The online interviews are done with the Jitsi audio-video chat tool. No installation or download is necessary to start using the tool.

Chat with candidates during the event

When logged in to your exhibitor account you can reply to and chat with candidates during the event.

Consider planning interviews for time slots outside the event hours – so that you have the time available during the event hours to meet and interview spontaneously.
