Junior Dev-Ops Engineer

Location: Évora or Lisbon (remote is possible)

We are looking for a Junior Dev-Ops Engineer to join our team in Évora or Lisbon (remote is possible) and working on cool Insuretech, Fintech, Blockchain and A.I. projects. We are a dynamic AI startup with clients in Switzerland, Germany, and the USA. We work with top-notch tech, use containers, cloud, and other cool stuff.

Must-Have Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting

• Experience with containerization technologies (preferably Docker)

• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts

• Knowledge of basic security concepts

• Work under the DevOps team and follow the team's principles and best practices on different projects

• Highly responsible, dynamic, proactive and eager to learn and make a career on DevOps

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Kubernetes

• Open source tools like GIT, Maven, NPM, Jenkins

• AWS, Azure, or other cloud provider

• Experience with some sort of automation process

• Exposure to any backend technology: Java, NodeJs, C#, Python, etc.

• Exposure to any frontend technology: Angular, React, JQuery, etc.

• Exposure to any database technology: MySQL, MongoDB, etc.

• Participate in discussions & brainstorming sessions on architecture, design, and logic/algorithms

• Be a self-starter who requires little day to day supervision/directions

Education & Soft Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work successfully with a globally distributed team

• Adaptable, enthusiastic, and willing to take ownership

• Exceptional written, and verbal communication skills

• Inquisitive, analytical, and creative problem solver
