About the team

Calling Application team is responsible for creating, developing and monitoring highly scalable, calling related web services for Skype network.

What we do:

• Design, implement and test new services and features in existing services

• Debug and fix issues

• Monitor services and perform service operations in Production

• Follow code quality, performance, testability and documentation requirements.

• Participate in estimation and planning of development tasks

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in programming C#, Java, .NET or similar

• Deep understanding of software development principles (threads, synchronization, interfaces, memory management, algorithm complexity, etc.)

• Ability to write clean, maintainable and tested code

• Good analytical skills and logical thinking

• Excellent trouble-shooting skills

• Ability to work in an international team in English-speaking environment

Other considerations:

• Understanding of principles of testable code

• Understanding of basics algorithms and design principles

• Understanding of Internet protocols, Internet services and standards (main principles)
