Our EPC Business Line is looking for a Sales Engineer, for its Operations, who will have the following responsibilities:
- Implementation of Company Sales Strategy in the geographical area appointed:
- Develop relation with existing customers;
- Identify new prospects/ new customers;
- Identify new sales opportunities and development phases opportunities;
- Develop close contact with customers and identify their needs and key drivers;
- Perform regular and updated presentations to customers;
- Share information/ leads/ sales strategy with other commercial departments within Voltalia Group;
- Responsible for the orders booking from 3rd party customers within the geographical area in charge and for sales reporting;
- Prequalification & proposals:
- Support collecting data to prepare new customers/ partners due diligence;
- Coordinate technical and commercial bids preparation, budget preparation, according to internal processes;
- Participation to clarification and negotiation meetings with customers;
- Collect and gather market information and competition information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
- Engineering Degree;
- At least 5 years of experience in in project capex evaluation and/ or project development, with several years in Portugal;
- Knowledge of the energy sector (grid operators, manufacturers, IPP, EPC companies etc.);
- Knowledge of renewable solar project development phases, project finance and solar technologies;
- English proficiency (mandatory).
